Ahmed is an accomplished Executive Leader with a career spanning over 35 years in the Pharmaceutical industry, having worked with a number of Multinational Pharmaceuticals, covering many geographies within the Middle East. Ahmed founded Vie Pharma in the Middle East and before that he served as area Managing Director of Abbott Pharmaceuticals for the Gulf area. From the regional of Abbott, Dubai, Ahmed assumed the role of General Manager – Gulf area & Iran for a number of therapeutic areas, most notably Infectious Diseases, Women’s Health Care, and served on various corporate committees. Ahmed has an active role in industry committees, including PhRMA MEAC Board. Ahmed holds a PharmD. Degree.
